Happy New Year Union Sailing Club Members!
Lets make 2009 a great year! Union Sailing Club members can look forward to attending many great events this year. Club racing, Open Regattas, Sunday BBQ's and a host of training and other social events. Volunteerism runs our club, so please take the time to check a box or two on the 2009 membership form to let us know how you can contribute a little time, talent or treasure.
The first event on our schedule is The Denver Boat Show from January 15-18, 2009. The show has been completely revamped this year, visit the website for all the info. Most importantly, a group of local sailing clubs are hosting the Kids Fun Zone this year and we expect to have 1,500 kids over the course of the weekend completing the activities we have planned. We have an excellent opportunity to show off our club to all those families; please contact shannan@unionsailingclub.org if you can volunteer for a few hours. |

Storage Members
The 2009 storage contract is now available. The City Counsel voted to increase the storage fee for Union Reservoir by $25. Annual passes and entrance fees have changed as well - 2009 Union Reservior fee schedule

We had quite a blow the other night and, unfortunately, some member's boats sustained damage. Please make sure that your boats are secured for the windy winter ASAP. USC purchased heavy duty sand screws for our member's use at the club; you can find them in the shed. |
