Dear Sailors,
I want to send a great big THANK YOU to all our volunteers - those who gave time, those who donated treasures and those who used their talents to make the boat show booth great.  Thank-you to the USC members who ran our activity, the members from Dillon, Chatfield, Community Sailing, SAIL, Salty Dogs & Carter Lake for participating in the planning and making it happen and, most of all, Steve & Donna Linton for giving us non profits the opportunity to be such a big part of the boat show.

If you didn't get the opportunity to see for yourself, the Colorado Marine Dealers Association allowed the local sailing clubs to host the Kids Fun Zone at the boat show and I am proud to say that we did not disappoint.  Our joint booth was a huge success and it happened because of the volunteers.

I expected that we would work hard, have fun entertaining the kids and get the opportunity to talk to lots of people about the pastime we love - but something unexpected happened, a camaraderie between the clubs came to life as we completed something that no individual club could have done on their own.  Well done!
