SAIL Seminar
2nd Winter Seminar
Wednesday, March 11th members are invited to attend SAIL's 2nd Winter Seminar at the original Brooklyn's.  The Salty Dogs Sailing Club will present a talk on how their club works and how it acts as a clearing house for in-country and overseas sailing cruises.  They will highlight the talk with information on past trips to the Bahia, the Great Lakes, the Florida Keys, as well as to Greece, Croatia, and the Caribbean.  It should be an interesting evening.  The event will run  from 7:00 till 9:00 PM with dinner available at 6:00 PM

Tick Dock, Tick Dock

Spring fever has definitely set in - the reservoir is open, the days are longer and we are less than 28 days from launching our newly refurbished docks.    The docks committee has done a fantastic job of demolishing and then rebuilding our existing set of docks and new gangways are under construction.  A special thanks goes out to Jack Sasson for serving as project manager and to all the members who showed up on the chilly work days.  Besides renewing our docks, your board of directors has planned to have several tons of sand delivered this spring to expand the beach area.  I can already picture how inviting our shoreline will be this year.

Launch day is April 4th and we will need all hands on deck to make it happen.  Volunteers are needed to help with launching, spreading sand, cleaning & refurbishing the picnic tables, shoreline cleanup and, of course, breaking out the BBQ.
