1. Schedule of Events:

1. Saturday, June 7, 2008
   
   07:30 to 09:00 Registration and Continental breakfast at clubhouse
   10:00 Skippers meeting at the clubhouse
   11:25 Warning signal for first race, addl. races to immediately follow
   18:00 Dinner served at the clubhouse
   
   Sunday, June 7, 2008
   
   07:30 to 09:30 Pancake breakfast at the clubhouse
   09:00 Skippers meeting at clubhouse (if required - watch for notice posted before 20:00 on Saturday)
   09:55 Warning signal for first race, addl. races to immediately follow
   ASAP after last race - trophy presentation
   
   
2. No race will be started after 16:30 on Sat. or 14:30 on Sun.
   
   

2. Rules:

This Regatta will be governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008.

3. Eligibility and Entry:

The event is open to Butterfly One Design Class. All racers shall comply with their One Design Class rules.

5. Fees:

Regatta Entry Fees: $65.00 / $45 members (USC)

Entry fee includes: Continental breakfast, dinner, social event, and trophies.

Not included in entry fee: Vehicle, park or boat passes, (available at the

Club house or the park entry station) or T-shirts.

Regatta T-shirt (short-sleeved) $12.00

6. Measurement:

The individual class associations shall govern measurement.

7. Sailing Instructions:

Sailing instructions will be available at the registration.

8. Regatta Site:

The regatta site will be at Union Sailing Club on the Eastern Shore of Union Reservoir, Longmont, Colorado

9. Racing Area and Courses: Racing area and courses will be as shown on the Union Sailing Club 2008 Race Course Chart, available at registration.

10. Penalty System: Rule 44.2 Two Turn Penalty shall apply.

11. Scoring:

1. The low point scoring system of Appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 will be used.
   
2. A boats’ worst score will be excluded from her total if 4-7 races are completed in the Series, 2 scores will be excluded if 8-11 races are completed, and 3 scores will be excluded if 12 or more races are completed.
   

12. Trophies: 1st ,2nd & 3rd place trophies shall be awarded
