The kids sailed, the coaches coached, and the wind was more than agreeable – fun was had by all. This year’s JO was a great success! There are so many people to thank: the coaches, the sponsors, the volunteers, the families, Ivan and Union Sailing Club, the list goes on. But the day was for and about the young sailors, and to them goes our highest praise. With courage to push to the boundaries of their limitations – these sailors were enthusiastic, engaged, kind, and cooperative. Truly, the spirit of the Junior Olympic Sailing Festival was present at Union Reservoir this weekend. See some images for day two below:
