It was a big week for Union Sailors. Jim Daus & Sue Swisher just simply ran over the competition. Jim has finished 2nd & 3rd in the past two BNACS. If you are sailing close to Jim on Sunday and Wednesday series at Union Res consider yourself pretty good. Hat's off to Jim Daus. Jim Young and Mike Ruwitch attended the Butterfly Nationals on Crystal Lake, Michigan with Jim taking fourth in a growing, improving national class with 70 boats on the line this year. Mike Ruwitch was mid fleet...with a broken dagger board on the last day of racing. It was pumping up to 30+ on the last day with carnage not limited to Mike...masts, booms, egos. Nothing sacred in this tough class. Yes, they stayed out. Have to wonder about the hard core RC. Don't be fooled by the pretty name.
